The Challenge

As the Purple Book Community grew globally, its digital platform needed to handle increasing complexity. Key challenges included:

Managing frequent virtual and in-person events

Supporting large volumes of community content and resources

Enabling quick updates without technical bottlenecks

Designing navigation that scales with content growth

Maintaining brand alignment with ArmorCode while remaining community-first

Key Question

How can we build a scalable, community-driven website that supports continuous events and content while remaining easy to manage?

Solutions

Our solution focused on creating a scalable digital foundation that empowers the Purple Book Community to run events, publish content and engage members with ease.

Community website built from scratch

The website was designed and developed specifically for community-driven workflows. What we delivered:

A standalone website with community-focused layouts

Flexible sections for events, resources and member activities

Visual alignment with ArmorCode while giving PBC its own identity

A consistent illustration style across product pages, blogs and resources

The community team now has a strong digital platform built for long-term growth.

Events are a core part of the Purple Book Community, requiring a repeatable and efficient setup. Our solution included:

Reusable templates for event detail pages

Custom registration forms with tracking and attribution fields

CMS-driven event listings for easy publishing

Layouts that support both physical and virtual events

New events can be launched quickly without recreating pages each time.

Component-based Webflow architecture

To support frequent updates, we implemented a modular design system. Key components included:

Reusable blocks for community sections and resources

Standardized layouts to maintain consistency

Flexible components for CTAs and forms

Content updates are faster and design consistency is maintained across the site.

Easy discovery paths for new and returning members

Users can navigate and explore content effortlessly even as the community scales.

Automation for community operations

Recurring operational tasks were automated to reduce manual effort. Automations included:

Job listings synced automatically from Google Sheets

Zapier → HubSpot integration for all form submissions

Redirect systems to support evolving content structures

Operational overhead was reduced, allowing the team to focus on community growth.
